Return & Refund Policy

We want you to love your MashMore gear. If something isn't right, we'll make it right. Here's exactly how returns, exchanges, and refunds work.

30-Day Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return. After 30 days, we're unable to offer a refund or exchange.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
  • Free of stains, smells (smoke, perfume, food, etc.), and pet hair
  • Returned with all original tags and packaging when applicable

Non-returnable items:

  • Final sale and clearance items (clearly marked at purchase)
  • Items damaged through normal wear or improper care (we follow care instructions on the label, please do too)
  • Gift cards
  • Custom or personalized items

How to Start a Return

  1. Email mashy@mashmorepotato.com with your order number and the reason for return.
  2. We'll reply within 24 business hours with a return authorization (RA) number and a prepaid return shipping label (for U.S. orders).
  3. Pack the item in its original packaging (or any sturdy box), attach the label, and drop it off at any USPS location.
  4. Once we receive and inspect your return (1–3 business days), we'll email you a refund confirmation.

Refunds

  • Original payment method: Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 3–5 business days of return inspection. Depending on your bank, it can take an additional 2–10 business days for the credit to appear on your statement.
  • Original shipping costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable, except when the return is due to our error (wrong item, defect, damage in transit).
  • Return shipping: Free for U.S. orders. We provide a prepaid USPS label. International return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

Exchanges

The fastest way to exchange an item is to return the original and place a new order for the replacement size or color. This way you get your new item shipped right away without waiting for the return to process.

If you'd prefer a direct exchange, email us and we'll arrange it. Direct exchanges typically take 7–10 business days total.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered:

  • Email mashy@mashmorepotato.com within 7 days of delivery
  • Include photos of the issue and your order number
  • We'll send a free replacement immediately, no return required for items that are clearly defective

Sale & Discounted Items

Items purchased with a discount code (other than "final sale" items) are eligible for return. The refund will be issued for the discounted price you paid.

Gifts

If your item was a gift and shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift credit in the form of a store-credit code for the value of the return. If the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves first, we'll issue the refund to the gift giver.

Lost Returns

We recommend using a trackable shipping service. We can't be responsible for return packages lost in transit when you do not use the prepaid label we provide.
